We now offer a low-cost solution for those looking to add disc brakes to their rear axle. This weld on bracket is easily modified to work with a wide variety of axles including axles with 5 on 4.5", 5 on 5.5", 6 on 5.5", and 8 on 6.5" wheel lug patterns and most 11.5" and 12.5" brake rotors. Don't mistake these brackets for inferior ones you may find at some race shops - these heavy duty brackets are custom laser cut from 5/16" cold rolled steel to give you the strength you need. A detailed parts list by make/model and part number is included with eachset These kits are designed primarily for the do it yourself 4 Wheeler, with three objectives in mind: Keep the cost down (Most applications under $200 total cost for ALL parts, including brackets)To use OEM style, readily available parts. To supply only the custom made brackets, allowing the end consumer to use parts they may already have in their garage, or purchase the needed parts from almost any auto parts store (even on Sunday night at 8:00 pm) Consumer supplies OEM GM front calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines andassociated hardware. WARNING! A hydraulic line lock is highly recommended as this kit will eliminate the emergency brake! The hydraulic line lock is for use as a parking brake only! Should hydraulic pressure be lost, the line lock will be rendered useless and inoperable! This Item will give you 2 brackets (1 pair)for one Axle. You do not need to order 2 of these brackets to get a pair.The pictured brackets show the optional brake line bracket. This secures the brakeline going to the caliper.
